Carol utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches including EMDR/Flash Technique, Solution Focused Therapy, Collaborate Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specializes in grief and loss. Carol also works with anxiety, depression and trauma related injuries. Carol believes that within each of us is an innate capacity for healing, health and wholeness. What she seeks to do in therapy is help you, the client, find and utilize that capacity, teaching you to be your own therapist. 



Carol is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an ordained clergy, offering a unique counseling perspective that honors /integrates the client’s faith perspective into therapy. Carol earned her Doctor of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, focusing her work on harmful theologies and its effects on women. Carol has also worked with Bluegrass Care Navigators as a hospice chaplain and a bereavement counselor.

In her free time Carol enjoys hiking, sewing and has just purchased a paddle board.
