Our Therapy Options

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Therapy (CT) honors the power of thinking. Our thinking creates and sustains ways of being in the world, with ourselves, and with others. We provide the space and support you need to author your own life and solve problems. We link thought and action with a holistic approach that embraces the mind, body, and spirit.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy combines the non-judgmental attention to the present moment with the ability of being self-aware. It is the practice of slowing life down while acknowledging  what is going on in your life. In simple terms, it combines Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

DBT is another evidence based therapy option that will assist one in improving the ability to regulate emotions and develop meaningful relationships in their life.  DBT was developed in the late 1980s by psychologist Marsha M. Linehan and is a highly effective and specific type of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy that encompasses CBT principles while emphasizing validation and acceptance. The skills covered in the DBT therapy are: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

ART works to directly reprogram how you feel about a traumatic memory and replace your brain's distressing feelings using eye movement, so you no longer are triggered by your memories of the event.

Child therapy such as Gestalt Play Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Theraplay are rooted in promoting emotional growth, enhancing social skills, and fostering healthy relationships in children.
