Kristine is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate in the state of Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Counseling from Liberty University and her Master of Mental Health Counseling degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. Kristine originally began her career in mental health at a community mental health outreach in downtown Lexington. Kristine has also spent the past 6 years volunteering her time in mentoring teenagers and young adults to aid them in having foundational tools for success as they transition into adulthood. Currently, she enjoys working with young adults, adults and couples.

Kristine believes in a person-centered approach to psychotherapy utilizing empathy, respect, and collaboration with the individual. She creates a safe and nurturing space where individuals can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through evidence-based practices and a person-centered approach, she works alongside individuals to develop a tailored treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and goals.

She is equipped to help individuals cope with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions, and more. Kristine utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, strengths-based interventions, and internal family systems therapy to help individuals regain their sense of self and improve their well-being.

In her spare time, Kristine enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with her 3 dogs!
