Wallace's passion for mental health care was ignited during his time as a nursing technician at Eastern State Hospital, where he worked closely with adults facing severe psychiatric challenges. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the complexities of mental health and equipped him with strong therapeutic rapport and conflict resolution skills. This experience sparked a deeper interest in counseling and passion for helping others. Wallace’s hands-on experience means he deeply understands the unique needs of each individual and is equipped with the right tools to help others live better lives.

Wallace’s counseling philosophy centers on empowering one to enhance self-awareness and achieve their goals of feeling better within themselves and with their relationships with others and the world. He uses Evidence Based approaches, focusing on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps identify and transform unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior and replace it for healthier and positive ones. Wallace uses this approach in a collaborative way as he is understanding and respectful of where you are and where you want to be, ensuring that your unique needs and goals are always at the forefront.

Outside of counseling, Wallace enjoys playing the piano, exploring the great outdoors, and spending quality time with his family. These personal interests help him stay balanced and bring a sense of harmony to his professional life.

Let Wallace’s extensive experience and compassionate approach be your support on the path to mental wellness. He is here to listen, guide, and work with you towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
