Nina B. Werness, LCMHCA, LPCA, brings over 30 years of expertise integrating mindfulness, movement therapy, and evidence-based interventions to support individuals seeking emotional well-being. With dual master’s degrees in Multicultural/School Counseling (University of New Orleans) and Performance Arts (American University), Nina offers a distinctive approach that blends therapeutic approaches with creative, body-centered practices.


Nina’s extensive training includes EMDR & Somatic modalities, Mindfulness and Meditation practices , and other body-mind approaches. She specializes in addressing anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma through her MindBody Centering Therapy model, which emphasizes a compassionate, client-centered environment. By merging principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed yoga principles, Nina fosters a therapeutic space where clients can safely explore their challenges, enhance resilience, and discover a renewed sense of hope.
