Anika Gooch, LCSW

Anika uses community partnerships in working with clients to emphasize their individual strengths, focusing on their personal and cultural values. She provided therapeutic services to children in Fayette County Public Schools and adult survivors of domestic violence at various non-profit organizations in Lexington, Kentucky. Anika has leadership experience in training other therapists as well as presenting at the Prevent Child Abuse Conference and The Tenth Annual Conference on Meeting the Therapy Needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Children with Disabilities in the Community. She is also a speaker in the Central Kentucky Second Saturday Divorce workshop, where is provides mental health information for the ones attending (www.centralkysecondsaturday.com).

Anika's therapeutic style is described as client-centered, strength-based, and relationship-focused. She focuses on the importance of meeting the client where they are and helping them foster healthy relationships to assist them in meeting their personal life goals.

Anika enjoys practicing yoga, photography, and hiking in her free time.
